Me and my boyfriend love Humus so we know what good hummus is and believe me this is good Humus.
Humus is also very healthy, Garbanzo beans (chickpeas, Humus)are a very good source of folic acid, fiber, manganese, protein, as well as minerals such as iron, copper, zinc, and magnesium.
Garbanzo beans help lower cholesterol and
improve blood sugar levels.
Tahini the second main ingrediant is also very healthy for you. Tahini is made from sesame seeds are a good source of manganese, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, vitamin B1, zinc and dietary fiber. Sesame seeds contain two unique substances: sesamin and sesamolin. Both of these substances belong to a group of special beneficial fibers calledlignans, and have been shown to have a cholesterol-lowering effect in humans, and to prevent high blood pressure and increase vitamin E supplies in animals. Sesamin has also been found to protect the liver from oxidative damage.

Ingredients
- 2 cups of soft canned/jar Garbanzo beans
- ¾ cups of Tahini
- 2 soft garlic
- Little bit cumin (cort) 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
Method
- grind up garbanzo beans into a blender or food processor, but leave a little bit on the side ( you will want to mix them in at the end)
- Mix the blended garbanzo beans, Tahini, Garlic and lemon juice
- Add some salt and keep mixing
- Add the cumin and mix some more
- Add water to make it less thick
- Add the garbanzo beans that you did not blend
- You can sprinkle some paprika, olive oil, and persil for decoration at the end if you like
